We know that, occasionally, things can go wrong, so if there is any cause for complaint, the matter will be dealt with swiftly and completely, with your satisfaction the paramount consideration.

Q.  Do you offer a guarantee?

A.  Yes, all our furniture is guaranteed for one year against manufacturer's defects.

If the item is faulty or damaged in transit on the way to you, we will replace your goods or refund all costs, including all delivery charges, according to your preference.

If, after you receive your furniture, you change your mind or the furniture doesn't suit for whatever reason,  we will offer a full, no quibble money-back guarantee (excluding delivery cost). This is valid for two weeks after purchase.

If you return your goods for this reason, they will need to be returned in brand new, sellable condition in all its original packaging to qualify for a refund and you will have to fund the cost of returning the goods, which will be the same price as the delivery.

This does not affect your statutory rights.  We abide by the distance selling rules.

Q.  Where is your furniture made?

A.  Our furniture is sourced world-wide. We obtain a lot of furniture from India and the far east but also source more locally from Europe.

Our furniture is made by skilled craftsmen and we like to ensure that all people involved in the production of our goods enjoy ethical working practices.

Q.  What is your furniture made from?

A.  Please see our product descriptions for the exact details. The majority of our goods are solid hard-wood. Where veneers are used, this will be pointed out in the product description.

Q.  Do you use wood from sustainable sources?

A.  We like to ensure that all wood used in our furniture is obtained from managed, sustainable sources.

Q.  How much does delivery cost?

A.  Delivery within the CT postocde area is free. Delivery outside of this postcode area is £25 up to an order value of £500., whereafter delivery is free.

We make no profit from delivery charges and, in fact, we subsidise deliveries.

Q.  Where do you deliver to?

A.  We deliver to mainland UK locations only.  Some outlying areas may incur a delivery surcharge.

Q.  Will the furniture fit in my house?

A.  All measurements are included in the item description.

Please ensure you measure where you are going to place the item to ensure it will be the right size for your needs.

Maybe use a piece of newspaper the same size as the footprint of the piece to test it out in-place in your room.  Account for opening of doors and drawers.

When buying a dining table and chairs, ensure you have about 60cm space around the table to sit down.

Many items of our furniture are not flat-packed, so allowance must be made to get the goods into your house.

Please measure doors or windows through which the goods may need to pass in order to get to their intended spot.

If your goods do not fit, you will receive a refund of the product cost but delivery charges will not be refunded.

Q.  How do I pay?

A.  You can pay securely and instantly with credit or debit card either online or over the telphone to us on 01304 366477.

We also accept cheques, although we have to allow cheques sufficient time to clear before dispatching goods.

Q.  Do you give credit?

A.  Not just yet but we plan to offer interest-free credit in due course.

Q.  How will my furniture be delivered?

A.  Our delivery team are experienced furniture moving experts. Where two men are required, we will supply two men. You will not be expected to help unload or shift the furniture. You may, however, be required to assist in moving your furniture into the house.

Assembly of your furniture and the removal of packaging etc can be carried out for you for a charge of £35.00 per hour or part of the hour.

Q.  How long will I have to wait for delivery?

A.  This varies from item to item and you will need to consult the item description for a guide.  Please call us on 01304 366477 and we give full details of whether the item is in stock or if it is in transit from the manufacturer and a more accurate delivery time estimate.

Q.  Do I have to be present to take delivery of my goods?

A.  Yes please.  We will not leave goods with neighbours or in garages etc.

You must inspect and sign for your goods before our delivery team leaves your home.

In the unlikely event that the goods are damaged on delivery, please refuse to accept the goods and write 'Damaged' on the delivery note.
We will then contact you to arrange a replacement.

You must report any goods damaged in transit directly to us by email. The address will be given to you in our order confirmation email.

Please note: A missed delivery slot, caused by a customer,  will incur a second delivery fee equal to the original cost of delivery.

Q.  Can I have a timed delivery slot?

A.  We will arrange a day that is convenient for you to take delivery of your goods.  However, due to the unpredictable nature of long-distance deliveries, we are unable to offer an exact time-slot. We will, however, contact you on the agreed day of delivery to give you a rough idea of the delivery time and to double check you are at home to take delivery.

Q.  Can I visit you to collect my goods?

A.  Yes, you can arrange an appointment to collect your goods, just give us a call or drop us an email. Our address is at the bottom of this page and you can see a map of our location here. But please do call first to ensure that the item you want to see will be on display in our store. Some of our goods may be in our warehouses but not actually on display.
